From Battaglia Terme, follow the scenic cycle path along the Vigenzone Canal to the charming hamlet of Pontemanco, known for its historic water mills. Continue through Mezzavia to San Pelagio Castle, home to an impressive Air Museum telling the story of human flight, from Leonardo da Vinci and the Montgolfier brothers to Neil Armstrong.

From the villa, continue on foot along the Terre Bianche (White Lands) trail towards Mount Pirio. This easy 5-kilometre trek winds through vineyards and olive groves before reaching a small church dedicated to the Alpine army forces. Back on your bike, continue towards the Benedictine Abbey of Praglia, an important centre for the restoration and preservation of historic books and manuscripts. A predominantly flat cycling stage, making it particularly enjoyable for a relaxed family cycling day. The first section follows an unpaved path along the river bank, followed by quiet secondary roads and several sections of dedicated cycle path.

Today’s longer ride follows the Euganean Hills cycle path, which encircles the entire chain of the Euganean Hills. The route passes through peaceful woodland, historic abbeys and charming towns such as Este.
Most of the stage is relatively flat. The main exception is a short but steep climb during the first part of the route, before reaching Bastia. The 65-kilometre distance makes this the most demanding cycling day of the tour and is best suited to families and riders comfortable with a longer day in the saddle.

An easy cycling stage, following mainly paved cycle paths and quiet roads. For part of the route, you will ride on an unpaved road before reaching the Benedictine Abbey of Praglia.

The tour is designed to be accessible to young and older riders alike. Most cycling takes place on safe cycle paths or quiet roads with little traffic. Two easy walks are also included in the itinerary.
Day 4 offers additional flexibility. Depending on your mood and energy levels, you can choose a longer cycling excursion along the Euganean Hills cycle path, enjoy a relaxing day at the thermal spa resort, or take the train to Padua or Venice for a cultural excursion.
