Look forward to an unforgettable journey through the heart of south-eastern Sicily: from the charming hill town of Palazzolo Acreide through the magnificent Baroque cities of Noto, Ragusa Ibla and Modica, and on to Scicli.
Along the way, you will experience a wonderfully diverse landscape of rolling hills, deep valleys and dramatic coastlines. And throughout the journey, you can look forward to one of the region’s greatest pleasures – the unmistakably delicious cuisine of Sicily.

Sicily e-bike tour
Day 1: Welcome to Sicily (Ben arrivati in Sicilia!)
You land at Catania airport, located at the base of Mount Etna. A group transfer takes you on a one-hour drive to the rural Hotel Borgo del Carato near Solarino, your base for the first two nights. Here you meet your tour guide, receive your e-bike, and enjoy a welcome dinner featuring traditional Sicilian cuisine.

Day 2: Through the Anapo Valley
The first cycling stage leads you on a 43-kilometer ride through the scenic Anapo Valley, lined with olive groves and citrus plantations. A traditional Sicilian picnic is provided along the route. In the afternoon, you return to the hotel to relax by the pool and garden before dinner is served.

Day 3: The Baroque Town of Palazzolo Acreide
You cycle 40 kilometers up to the historical mountain town of Palazzolo Acreide. The route includes free time to explore the Basilica di San Sebastiano and the ancient Greek theater of Akrai. Afterward, you ride along quiet country roads to check into Tenuta San Marco, a modern resort where you spend the next two nights.

Day 4: Canyons, Ancient Ruins, and Noto
Today features a 58-kilometer loop starting with a view into Cavagrande del Cassibile, the deepest canyon in the Hyblaean Mountains. You coast down winding switchbacks to Noto, the capital of Sicilian Baroque, for independent exploration. Using the e-bike motor support, you climb back into the hills, stopping at the historic ruins of Noto Antica—destroyed by an earthquake in 1693—before heading back to the resort.

Day 5: Panoramic Route into Ragusa Ibla
Leaving the Syracuse province behind, you follow a panoramic downhill route toward Castelluccio into the Ragusa province. You then ride gently uphill through olive and carob plantations, stopping for an outdoor picnic. After completing the 45-kilometer stage, you check into the Antico Convento I Cappuccini, a historic Capuchin monastery dating back to 1230, overlooking Ragusa Ibla.

Day 6: Modica and Scicli
You cycle a relaxed 25 kilometers to visit two more iconic Baroque towns in the Val di Noto. In Modica, you enjoy a chocolate tasting to sample the town’s traditional, officially recognized cocoa specialty. You then ride through the Fiumara Valley to Scicli, a striking town wedged between steep hills, where your hotel is located right in the old town center for easy walking tours.

Day 7: Coastal Cycling to Marzamemi
The final 58-kilometer cycling stage starts with a brief climb above Scicli before a long descent to the Mediterranean Sea near Pozzallo. You cruise along the coast, enjoying a final route picnic, and arrive at the historic fishing village of Marzamemi. At Villa Giulia, you return your e-bikes and gather for a festive group farewell dinner.

Day 8: Arrivederci!
Following breakfast, the scheduled group transfer drives you back to Catania airport for your return flight home, officially concluding your 8-day tour.
