Day 1: Departure to Vietnam
You board your scheduled long-haul flight from Frankfurt hub heading directly toward Vietnam.
Day 2: Marble Mountains of Da Nang and Arrival in Hoi An
After a brief transit stop in Saigon, you take an inner-Asian domestic flight to Da Nang, where you meet your German-speaking tour guide. The group drives past the imposing Marble Mountains—noted for their historic pagodas and cave sanctuaries—to check into the Allegro Hoi An Hotel. A welcome dinner introducing local culinary specialties concludes the evening.

Day 3: Ancient Port of Hoi An and Tra Que Herb Village
The morning features a walking tour through the UNESCO-listed ancient trading port of Hoi An, exploring historic graves, public buildings, and ornate bridges. The first cycling stage leads you 15 kilometers along the Thu Bon River through rural landscapes to a traditional herb village filled with the scents of lemongrass and coriander, ending with a coastal ride to the beach.

Day 4: Over the Hai Van Pass to Hue

You descend toward the imperial city of Hue, located on the banks of the Perfume River, and check into the Pilgrimage Village Resort.

Day 5: Imperial Relics and Royal Tombs of Hue
You begin with a short bike ride to the riverbank, followed by a boat transfer to the seven-story Thien Mu Pagoda. Afterward, a 30-kilometer cycling loop guides you to a traditional garden house for a lunch of regional specialties. In the afternoon, you ride to the expansive imperial tombs of Emperor Tu Duc and Emperor Khai Dinh before returning to the resort.

Day 6: The Forbidden Purple City and Flight to Saigon

An introductory city tour takes you past the exterior of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and the Reunification Palace.

Day 7: Cu Chi Tunnels and Rickshaw Tour of Chinatown
A two-hour morning bus ride takes the group to Cu Chi to explore the historic subterranean tunnel network used by the Vietcong. Returning to Saigon in the afternoon, you experience a traditional bicycle-rickshaw (cyclo) tour through the bustling streets of Chinatown (Cho Lon). The evening concludes with a group dinner at a local street food market.

Day 8: Into the Nam Cat Tien National Park
You travel by support bus toward the Nam Cat Tien National Park, stopping along the way to tour a local rubber plantation. Switching to e-bikes, you ride 30 kilometers through minority villages and pepper plantations to Ta Lai for a fresh lunch. You check into the Orchard Home Resort located directly on the park boundary.

Day 9: Trekking to the Crocodile Lake

An outdoor picnic is served along the shore before you walk back and spend a relaxing afternoon at the resort pool.

Following lunch and a fruit tasting at a traditional family estate, you set out on a 40-kilometer e-bike excursion to observe rural delta life, concluding with a scenic rowboat ride through narrow palm-lined canals.

Day 13: Mekong River Cruise on the Bassac
You enjoy a relaxing morning before boarding the Bassac Cruise vessel in the late forenoon. You spend the rest of the day and the night aboard this modern river ship. You cruise deep into the waterways of the delta, enjoying sunset drinks at the onboard bar as local river life passes by.

Day 14: Cai Rang Floating Market and Return to Saigon
The ship arrives in Can Tho at dawn. After breakfast, a smaller boat transfers the group directly into the middle of the famous Cai Rang floating market to witness boats trading sugar cane, coconuts, and tropical fruits. On the drive back to Saigon, you stop to visit a historic historic mandarin house in Binh Thuy before saying goodbye to your tour guide after a final farewell dinner.
